This past Monday my first call of the day was from Channel 13/WZZM an ABC news affiliate in West Michigan wanting to do a story on our company. To say the least, my partner Randy and I were very excited! That evening I was boarding a plane for Detroit. Tuesday afternoon, I was in Grand Rapids and heading to our kitchen in Hart, Michigan where we would spend the next few hours in the kitchen baking granola so we would have enough product in place for the shoot the next day! Wednesday morning, Randy and I headed to the kitchen and met with Tara from Take Five and Co. She was simply wonderful and put us at ease right away. Before we knew it, we were done! Randy and I decided to head to HopCat to meet with some folks there to talk about our launch party that is being planned for June 7th! Our amazing friend and partner-in-crime, Michele, decided to make a trip out from DC to spend some time with us and lend her support. All together, we caught up over dinner and some great microbrewed beers at HopCat. The very next day, Randy and I were busy planning our launch parties in Detroit on June 1st and in Grand Rapids on June 7th, and the release of our website in preparation for Friday morning’s show! By 6pm on Thursday, we had made the needed modifications (thanks Tim!) and our site was ready to “go live”! Friday morning we saw ourselves on TV talking about the amazing granola that we are creating and bringing to you: our loyal and supportive friends and fans of our product! WHEW! What a week! I can only wonder what this week will bring…!
